FAQ

Q: What if our kids don't behave?

A: Being loose and playful will get us better pictures, so don't stress if your kid starts goofing off! We highly recommend the session be a "no-scold zone" where we give lots of praise and you laugh together as a family. It will not only help us get better photos this time, but your kids will be excited to do photos again next time!

Q: What time do we need to arrive?

A: Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your session start time. Arriving late will cut into your session time, which we don't want!

Q: How soon will we have the gallery of photos?

A: Definitely within 2 weeks, usually sooner.

Q: Do we get the high resolution files?

A: Yes!

Q: You'll make me look good, right?

A: Absolutely. Elisa uses flattering angles, lenses, poses and light to make you look fantastic!

Q: What about Photoshop?

A: You are beautiful just the way you are, and we don't believe in drastically altering your appearance in Photoshop. But if there's a temporary blemish, like a pimple or scratch, we're happy to zap it out.

Q: What if the weather is bad?

A: If it's stormy or raining hard, your outdoor session will be rescheduled. Elisa will make this call the day of the session.

Q: What should we wear?

A: A winning combo for family photos tends to be one patterned outfit and the rest of the family in solids that complement the patterned outfit. Even though I'm personally a fan of bold color and patterns in regular life, for group photos it's always better to err on the side of simple and neutral if in doubt. Avoid big logos, shirts with words, and running shoes. Avoid anything that requires constant readjustment for it to look right. Ultimately, wearing clothes that fit well and that you feel good in is more important than wearing something trendy!
